How to Set Up a Duet

Youka allows you to assign lines to a first singer, second singer, or both for duet mode. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Duet Editor:
    • Click on the Edit menu below the video player and select Duet Editor.
  2. Assign Singers to Lines:
    • For each line, select the singer by choosing First Singer, Second Singer, or Both.
    • Use the Play button to preview the line and determine which singer it belongs to.
  3. Save Your Changes:
    • Once all lines are assigned, click Save to apply the changes.
  4. Customize Singer Styles:
    • By default, Youka uses these prebuilt styles:
      • Youka for the first singer.
      • Youka 2 for the second singer.
      • Youka 3 for both singers.
    • To assign different styles, click on the Style menu and select your preferred style.
    • You can further customize subtitle styles in Settings.
  5. Adjust Subtitle Position:
    • Go to SettingsPosition.
    • Select the singer you want to edit using the radio group.
    • Choose the subtitle position: Bottom, Top, or Center.
  6. Customize Duet Display:
    • By default, when both singers are singing, Youka displays their lines in their original positions.
    • To display them together as a single line:
      • Click Both.
      • Uncheck the Duet Line Split option.
