How to Keep the Original Singer’s Voice

If you want to isolate the singer’s voice and retain it in specific sections of a song, follow these instructions using the word-level sync tool.

  1. Open Word-Level Sync Tool
  • Navigate to the Edit menu and select Word Level Sync. This tool allows you to work at a very detailed level, making it easier to precisely control which parts of the audio retain the original vocals.
  1. Select the Section of the Song
  • Click on the timeline to locate the point in the song where you want to keep the original singer’s voice.
  1. Insert a New Time Marker
  • Once you’ve located the starting point, click on the plus (+) button. This will insert a marker on the timeline, allowing you to define the section you want to work with.
  1. Adjust the Selection
  • Adjust the length of the selection by moving the right or left bars of the inserted rectangle. Drag these bars to encompass the entire section of the song where you want to preserve the singer’s voice.
  1. Enable Vocals Preservation
  • After adjusting the selection, check the Preserve Vocals checkbox. This ensures that the singer’s voice will be retained in the selected section, while other parts will be separated.
  1. Save Your Changes
  • Once everything is set, click on Save to apply your changes.
