How to fix lyrics sync easily?

Scenario 1: Incorrect Lyrics or Completely Out of Sync #

If you encounter a situation where the lyrics are incorrect or the sync is way off, here’s what you need to do:

  1. Edit the Lyrics: Start by clicking on Edit, then select Edit Lyrics.
  2. Add the Song Lyrics: It’s crucial to ensure that the lyrics match the song precisely. For instance, if the chorus repeats in the song, you must include it each time it appears.
  3. Save and Sync: After entering the correct lyrics, choose the appropriate language, then click Save and Sync. This will initiate a new sync job.
  4. Review the Sync: Once the sync job is complete, go to the Jobs tab and click the Play button to review the new sync. If the sync starts well but later becomes out of sync, it usually means the lyrics don’t match up perfectly. Simply edit the lyrics again as instructed, and this should resolve the issue.

However, if you’re on the Pay per Use plan, there’s an even faster and easier method. You can use the Audioshake Transcription model, which eliminates the need to manually add the lyrics. The model will transcribe and sync the lyrics for you. While you might need to fix a few words if the transcription isn’t perfect, this approach is the quickest way to get your lyrics synced with minimal effort.

Scenario 2: Minor Sync Adjustments #

If most of the sync is good but a few words are out of sync, here’s how to fix it manually:

  1. Manual Adjustment: Click on Edit, then choose Word Level Sync.
  2. Find and Adjust the Words: Locate the word that’s out of sync, then drag the borders to the correct timing. You can also click on the word to edit it or play it back to confirm your adjustments.
  3. Additional Edits: You can add or remove words if needed. To split lines, select a word and then click Split Line. The selected word and the rest of the line will appear on a new line.

Following these steps will help you achieve the best results in Youka with minimal effort. Happy syncing!
